Sometime shale shaker may have breakdown of drilling fluid running, mainly because that the well fluid displacement is greater than the load of the shaker, or drilling fluid viscosity is too high, the mesh of shaker screen is so fine that the drilling fluid cannot drop down when drilling liquid is mixed with a lot of fiber material. It may also occur if the shaker screen is not cleaned in time after drilling circulating is stopped, then the dried mud will paste the mesh hole.
Sometimes the hydra cyclones of desander and desilter are blocked and cause failure using. The reason can be that the shaker screens are damaged or used unreaso nably, or there is no filter screen installed in the pipes of sand pump, large particles go into the cyclone and cause block.
Drilling fluid agitator is an easily damaged equipment, especially if the fluid is with high density, high viscosity, and if the mud agitator is low power, which will result in overload of use and the mud agitator cannot insist on continuous operation. This phenomenon can also be caused if there is no timely maintenance and lubrication and if the installation is not reasonable, so we must pay more attention to conduct maintenance and repair of the equipment. Formal methods of operation can make sure normal efficiency.
