Oil-based Cuttings/ Mud Disposal Vertical Cuttings Dryer is capable of drying cuttings larger than 250 microns, reducing the oil content to 2-5% and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the process when it enters the pyrolysis equipment. Liquid phase materials and fine oil particles discharged from the cuttings dryer need to enter our high-speed horizontal spiral centrifuge for solid-liquid separation. The oil recovered from separation can continue to be used for drilling. The oil content of solid phase substances separated by horizontal spiral centrifuge is about 10%, which can enter into the cuttings pyrolysis equipment.
The characteristics of oil-based mud (OBM) determine that the treatment of oil-based cuttings are often more difficult than water-based cuttings, and the cost is much higher. At this time, customers often choose to focus on oil-based cuttings.
There are 4 steps of Oil Base Mud (OBM) Disposal
The first step is to discharge cuttings processed by solid control equipment such as drilling fluid shaker, sand remover and mud remover during drilling into cuttings box for unified collection, and load cuttings box into transport truck.
The second step is to use the cuttings boxes of oil-based cuttings needed to be further processed by each drilling platform to the oil-based cuttings disposal plant in accordance with the preset commuting route.
Third step, oil-base drilling cuttings dry treatment using lifting rotation forklift lifting the debris box to elevated debris dumped on the funnel, cuttings to orbit elevated after the funnel flow to spiral conveyor, can be controlled by adjusting the spiral conveyor debris flow, the drilling cuttings sent cuttings dryer, through the dryer after primary treatment of liquid through a liquid tank were collected for recycling, stored in the primary treatment liquid collecting tank.
The fourth step, the solid phase waste is transported to the cuttings box through the lower spiral conveyor of the dryer for subsequent treatment. The liquid phase after the primary treatment is pumped through the screw pump on the collection tank to the high-speed mud centrifuge for secondary treatment. The waste discharged from the mud outlet is collected into the cuttings box for treatment. The liquid phase discharged from the centrifuge outlet pipe is clean, recyclable white oil and stored in the secondary treatment liquid phase collection tank.
Finally, the solid phase discharged by the cuttings dryer and centrifuge is stored in the special cuttings box. After unified collection, the solid phase is loaded into the truck by the lifting rotary forklift and transferred to incineration plant, brick factory, cement factory and other waste recyclable factories for final waste utilization or harmless treatment.
