- Inspection before operation of drilling fluid decanter centrifuge
In the mud solids control operation, the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge is composed of a high-speed centrifuge and a low-speed centrifuge. The medium-speed centrifuge is mainly used to recover barite, while the high-speed centrifuge is mainly used to separate solid particles larger than 2 microns. Processing capacity is 5-15μm, high speed 2-5μm.
Before operating the petroleum drilling fluid decanter centrifuge, the necessary inspection items are as follows:
①There are no objects around the rotating body that may affect the operation of the host.
②The tension of the V-belt and whether the guards are tightened for looseness.
③ Turn the V-belt of the main motor by hand, and it is required to turn the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge twice. Check whether there is a sticking phenomenon when turning by hand.
④ Check whether the diverter valve of the feed pipe is open, and the diverter valve must be in the fully open position when starting.
⑤ Check whether there is water in the clean water source, so that when the viscosity is too high, 5%-8% water can be added to help the separation effect and cleaning after use.
⑥ If it has not been used for a long time, check whether the mechanical oil of the double-row differential of the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge is sufficient before use. Open the screw plug and see the oil flowing out. If it is insufficient, add 30# mechanical oil.
- Precautions for starting and operating the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge
The drilling fluid decanter centrifuge uses the principle of centrifugal sedimentation to separate the drilling suspension. The suspension enters the drum from the feed pipe through the liquid outlet hole in the screw pusher. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase particles are pushed to the inner wall of the drum is pushed to the slag discharge port at the small end of the drum through the blades on the screw pusher, and the liquid phase overflows through the overflow hole at the large end of the drum. Such a continuous cycle, in order to achieve the purpose of continuous separation. It mainly separates solid particles with a particle size of 2-7um in the drilling fluid. The drilling fluid decanter centrifuge belongs to the category of horizontal screw centrifuges, the full name of which is horizontal screw drilling fluid decanter centrifuges.
Drilling fluid decanter centrifuges are also often used to treat non-weighted drilling fluids to remove drill cuttings particles with small particle size, and to perform secondary separation of the underflow of the cyclone, recover the liquid phase, and remove drill cuttings.
①First turn on the main power switch and the power switch of the pump.
②Start the auxiliary drive motor first, wait for the operation to run smoothly without other noises for 30s, then start the main drive motor to observe whether the operation is normal (if there is any abnormality, first stop the main drive motor, and then stop the auxiliary drive motor).
③ After the main and auxiliary machines are running normally, open the diverter valve of the liquid inlet pipe, start the liquid supply pump, and adjust the diverter flow of the diverter valve to increase or decrease the amount of slurry according to the working conditions.
- Precautions for the shutdown of the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge
Following the previous two chapters, here we talk about the precautions for the shutdown of the drilling fluid decanter centrifuge:
①Turn off the power supply of the liquid supply pump, stop the liquid supply, and close the diverter valve and the liquid supply valve.
②Open the clean water gate to supply water to the machine for cleaning, and stop for 5 minutes (stop the main machine first, and then stop the auxiliary machine). During the shutdown period, continue to inject clean water into the machine for about 3 minutes and then start the machine. Repeat the above process 2-3 times to completely remove the debris in the inner cavity.
③After the inner cavity is cleaned, disconnect the power according to the procedure, close the water valve to open the upper cover, wash the inner wall of the shield with water, and ensure that there is no sand settling around it.
④Close the top cover.
