The production processes of metal wire shale shaker screens, punching plate shale shaker screens, and electroforming shale shaker screens are different. So their physical properties, applicable materials and scenes are also different. In the specific using process, what are the advantages and disadvantages of the three kinds of shale shaker screens?
Metal wire shale shaker screens
The cost is relatively low, and the flexibility is good. Because it is a square structure formed by metal wires, the mesh shape is fixed, and the mesh accuracy is relatively the lowest among the three screens. However, under accumulated impact, the mesh may be deformed. This screen is widely used in large-volume shale shakers. For shale shakers with high precision requirements, it is widely used.
Punching plate shale shaker screens
Since it is formed by punching holes directly on the whole steel plate by a punching machine, the screen mesh of the punching plate has the characteristics of uniform accuracy and not easy to deform. The mesh shape also has two choices—round and square holes, but the accuracy of the mesh may vary. It is still not possible to achieve very precise screening, so the punching plate is mostly used for the screening of materials with a large proportion of materials and a large impact on the screen.
Electroforming shale shaker screens
The electroformed shale shaker screens are the most accurate ones among the three. Theoretically, the accuracy can reach one micron, and each mesh can be within the average error range. However, due to the different processes of the manufacturers, there will be great differences. But although the accuracy is high, the flexibility is not good. It is easy to crack, and the cost is high. It is not suitable for mass production.
